How scared a teenage Mary must have been when she gave birth to the Savior of the world. As the beautiful song, Mary Did You Know, written by Mark Lowry, says: “Mary did you know, this Child that you delivered would soon deliver you?” I wonder if she knew. How awed Joseph must have been when he realized the responsibility he had been given. And how much God must have loved you and me to send His only Son, Jesus, to die for our sins.
